Suely M. Black

Dr. Suely M. Black is Professor of Chemistry and Coordinator of the MS in Materials Science, the Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at Norfolk State University. She is the lead coordinator of PSMs being developed in the College of Science, Engineering, and
Technology.

Her professional interests lie in the development and implementation of innovative informal and formal STEM education programs at all levels. Dr. Black holds a Ph.D. and a M.Ph. In Chemistry from Columbia University, and a M.S. in Chemistry and a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Rio de Janeiro Federal University in Brazil.
