Dr. Kathlyn Y. Wilson is a co-PI with responsibility for the employer and market survey. An Assistant Professor of Management at Delaware State University, Dr. Wilson has 16 years of multinational consulting experience in employee and organization research in the U.K. and the United States.
Her experience includes development and implementation of organizational surveys as precursors to organization change programs. She has significant experience in human resources management consultancy, specializing in competency definition; design and
implementation of procedures for selection, appraisal and development; and provision of expert advice in equal opportunities to statutory bodies.
Dr. Wilson’s research interests include the measurement of employee performance, selection, and cross-national management. In Britain, she was a Chartered Psychologist and an Associate Fellow with the British Psychological Society. She was a consultant with Hay Management Consultants and an Associate with the University of London’s consultancy, Psychology at Work.
In the United States she has worked as a consultant to a city government and banks and as a Personnel Research Intern with IBM in Armonk, New York. Dr. Wilson received her Ph.D. (2003) in industrial and organizational psychology (minor in international business) from The Ohio State University. She was Visiting Assistant Professor at Florida International University’s College of Business Administration (2003) and a Visiting Scholar at University of Delaware’s Lerner College of Business and Economics (2005). Her professional affiliations include the Academy of Management, the American Psychological Association, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
